On the day of "Nov 11 online shopping carnival", a box of yogurt produced in Jinhua, Zhejiang, was always kept at a temperature of 2-6 ℃ by means of "unplugged" transportation. After 13 hours of long-distance transportation, it arrived in Beijing. This is the first express e-commerce train from the Beijing railway logistics center to arrive in Beijing during the "Nov 11 online shopping carnival" this year.
It is understood that the 856 pieces of yogurt carried on this train were placed in a special insulated transportation container. According to reports, the 1.5-ton small insulated transportation container relies on the ice row to keep the temperature constant, and does not require any additional power supply during transportation, which is more green and environmentally friendly than the previous cold chain transportation method.
"After more than two years of preliminary experiments, we have achieved a continuous constant temperature of 100 hours, which can fully meet the needs of long-distance transportation." Zhao Hongyan, manager of the Marketing Department of Beijing Railway Logistics Center, said that this technology can determine the temperature of the insulated transportation container according to customer needs. In the future, we will cooperate with more companies with special needs such as food and medicine.
