To produce a rotomolded water tank, the following steps are typically involved:
Mold Design: The first step is designing the mold. The mold consists of two or more halves that are machined or fabricated from materials such as aluminum or steel. The mold design includes the shape and size of the tank, as well as any additional features like outlets, inlets, or reinforcing ribs.
Mold Fabrication: Once the mold design is finalized, it is fabricated based on the specifications. Skilled toolmakers or mold fabricators use CNC machining or other techniques to create the mold halves.
Material Preparation: The plastic material used in rotational molding is typically in powdered form, such as polyethylene (PE). The material is selected based on its suitability for storing water and meeting regulatory requirements.
Loading the Mold: The mold halves are assembled and clamped together. The powdered plastic material is then loaded into the mold cavity. Care is taken to distribute the material evenly throughout the mold.
Heating and Rotation: The mold is heated, and as the temperature increases, the plastic material melts and coats the inner surface of the mold. The mold is simultaneously rotated on multiple axes, ensuring uniform coverage of the mold walls.
Cooling and Solidification: After the rotational molding process is complete, the mold is cooled down to allow the plastic to solidify. This can be done by circulating cool air or water around the mold.
Mold Opening and Demolding: Once the plastic has cooled and solidified, the mold is opened, and the newly formed water tank is removed. The excess material, known as flash, is trimmed off, leaving behind a finished product.
Cast Aluminum moulds.
Make mold sample, die casting the mould, then machining the casting in CNC machines. Then the mould is polished and/or textured to your specifications, this process takes a meticulous eye for detail. The mould cavities are then fit together.
It will be made sandblast per the request.
A steel frame is constructed and mounted to the mould.
After the framing and fitting of the mould are completed, we will produce samples to test the new mould.

2. lf the quantity is large enough. we will make the mould based on your requirements, then produce for you. Otherwise, you have to bear the cost of the mould by yourself.
